About the Firm

The wide range of legal experience among Simpson Tillinghast Sheehan, P.C.’s attorneys cover many different areas of the law, particularly regarding representation of Southeast Alaska Municipalities, established Southeast Alaska for-profit and nonprofit businesses, Native regional and village corporations, and Native housing authorities, and complex corporate and business transactions and litigation. The Firm represents and acts as general counsel to Tlingit- Haida Regional Housing Authority (for over 30 years), Sealaska Corporation (for over 35 years), and Baranof Island Housing Authority (for over 10 years). STS also represents and acts as general counsel to Yak-Tat Kwaan, Inc., Klawock Heenya Corporation, St. George Tanaq Corporation, the City of Hoonah, and many other Southeast Alaska individuals and entities.

We are admitted to practice in Alaska state and federal courts, the United States Court of Claims, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Tenth and District of Columbia Circuits, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the United States Court of International Trade. .
